Two Techs was established in 2009 as the Dartford area’s sole Renault specialist following the closure of the Renault main dealer the previous year.

Between us, our team has a total of 109 years’ experience of vehicle repair and maintenance, and 79 years of that has been gained through working exclusively on Renault vehicles.

So at Two Techs we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and the services we offer. We want you to leave here with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that work on your vehicle has been carried out to the highest possible standard.

We also understand that being without your vehicle can make life a little hard. So to help, we offer a number of pick up and collection services (within a 3 mile radius of our workshop in Dartford).

At Two Techs my role is customer service and lead technician

When Matt and I started up Two Techs back in 2009 we were excited and nervous. If it wasn’t for Matt I doubt we wouldn’t be here today.

My background

I learnt my way around engines while tinkering with off-road bikes at the age of 12. My involvement in superbike racing at 16 led me on to Renault Sports racing which gained me experience for me to work at the Renault garage in Dartford.

After work

When I’m not holding a spanner I’m spending quality time with my family but I’ve still got time to jump on two wheels and hit the track when the weather is good.

Matt Butler

Joint owner | head technician | vacationer

At Two Techs my role is lead technician

Terry and I run a tight ship at Two Techs. I make sure our staff are happy and the workshop is safe.

My background

I’ve been in the industry for 11 years and I’m passionate about cars. I started as an apprentice at Renault and quickly moved up the ladder to become lead technician.

After work

In our spare time, my wife and I go glamping and paragliding – our favourite things to do. I recently knitted myself a steering wheel cover for my Renault Sport Twingo 🙂

My role is a technician

I started at Two Techs 8 years ago and have enjoyed all aspects of working at such a professional garage.

My background

I’ve worked on cars all my life and I’m an avid Motorsport racing and well as bigfoot competitions.

After work

My main hobby is reading. I’ve read all the Harry Potter books and Lord of the Rings.

Working at Two Techs has been such a great step for my career and Terry and Matt are great leaders.

My background

Working on motorbikes was my first love. Then I got into F1. This led to me getting into Renault Sport

After work

When I’m not working I’m binge-watching Netflix.

Jo Brian

Head of shop | Runner

I worked in Dubai as a PA for 8 years and I found I enjoyed exploring a different culture so much that it gave me the travelling bug. When I’m not being the first point of call for Two Techs I’m cross country running and taking part in marathons.
