Block Exemption

In October 2003, European Union legislation ‘Block Exemption Regulations 1400/2002’ came into force to prevent vehicle manufacturers having a monopoly on servicing customer vehicles within their warranty period. Since then customers can have their vehicles serviced by independent repairers who use genuine manufacturer parts, the correct grade of oil and provide a VAT invoice with the details (which we do).
